A project to completely refurbish Delémont’s oldest pharmacy. The concept we developed aimed to situate the pharmacy within its geographical and historical context, whilst keeping in mind considerations of space, ergonomics and visual merchandising.
Firstly, the reorganisation of the sales area allowed us to optimise the space, thereby creating an additional private room dedicated to advice and consultation. This approach also enabled us to create a generous display area within a simple, elongated space, punctuated by large visuals taken from old postcards, which serve as historical nods to the city’s and region’s landmarks. The modern interior design plays off the charm of the building’s stone façade, which dates back to the early 20th century. A bold, contrasting colour scheme—matt black and glossy white—immerses us in a serene, minimalist atmosphere, where touches of kiwi green tell a story and guide us through space and time.
