We worked closely with the owner to create a modern and functional living space, while respecting the history and rustic character of the house. One of the main challenges of the project was to redesign the kitchen to make it a bright and welcoming living space. We redefined the flow between the living room and the kitchen by opening up part of a load-bearing wall and replacing the windows to bring in as much natural light as possible. The fireplace design was updated to create a warm and practical focal point.
In the shower room, we chose to highlight a wooden element crafted by the homeowner, placing it at the heart of the project. Modern touches were added to breathe new life into the room, such as a walk-in shower and the use of polished concrete for the walls and floor.
This project was a true pleasure for our team, and we are proud to have helped the owner create a living space that meets her needs and desires while respecting the history and spirit of the home.
