The introduction of natural light into the staircase and a wall that has been opened up to the living room instantly creates a sense of spaciousness in a space that had previously been dark and enclosed. Sometimes, simply moving a wall can create generous storage space and provide a walk-in wardrobe for two bedrooms at the same time. The material scheme is simple, based on earth tones, sand and brushed oak for the living areas, which helps to highlight the bold colours of the planned solid wood furniture. The bathrooms are designed to be more contrasting, with one wall section featuring either mosaic or metallic-effect tiles.
A project characterised by its softness, executed with finesse and with particular attention to the details of the spaces and finishes.
